A number of
English Department students State Polytechnics of Padang concentration Radio
and TV Broadcasting visit to Progroup Radio at Belanti, Padang. Progroup Radio
is one of the most popular radios in Padang. Progroup is a group effort which
is located in Padang and has some effort affiliation in Jakarta. This group
specialize on Radio Broadcasting, Entertainment and Event Organizer. It was
born since 2005 and succeeds as good Quality Radio Station. The perspective and
the mission of this radio is to be the best and professional and to make
society smart and also to entertain the society through on air and off air
program which is creative, quality
and favoured by the public. Every Radio have their format and goal on the each
radio, it’s become characteristic of the radio on their listeners. The purpose
of this visit to students is to difference between using format on the news and
entertainment. The covered area
of these radios is around Padang City and also Pariaman. The advantages of this station is located in the
middle of the city, so that the rate of this rate so high.
The reason why
progroup radio is because the owner of the progroup itself that is Mr Aim Zein is the best friend of Mr
Sentot Nugroho, one of the Radio broadcasting lecturer in English Department
state polytechnics of Padang. The second reason is in this station there are 2
difference radio in one location, that is 90.00 Pronews FM and 91.60 Warna FM. On running the effort of the radio, progroup has moto
simplicty is better, it means as minimum the human resources is better, but
with good quality human resource. Progroup lead by an Chief Executive Office
assist by a secretary. Beneath of the secretary is Program director and Music director on each
Pronews radio and warna radio and also Executive Office.
Pronews radio
with frequency 90.00 FM has news entertainment format, it means the news which
is inform given entertain inside of that news. Whereas on Warna Radio with
frequency 91.60 FM using format young adult, it means this radio target teenager
listeners until adult listeners. Why the target Teenager and adult? Because of teenager and adult has high profile on lisening
music. On Warna FM play only the update music, this radio never plays Old’s
music
A radio with newstainment format
broadcast up to date news and information continuity organized as news, radio
talk and interview, and also live report. The mission of this radio is to make
smart society with radio talk programs affiliation with SMARTFM Jakarta.it broadcast every morning and
night with profesional resource person such as Tung Desem, James Gwee, Fx Hadi, Ayah Edi, Prie GS, etc. Music
concept of this radio is hits and easy listening. Pronews also role as disaster
alert radio on padang.
Warna Radio 91.60 FM Padang is a radio with
youngster concept. The crewman of this radio is young talented and energetic
aircrew, it makes this radio is the first on it’s class. This radio use hits
music, new entries concept. It makes this radio become the biggest padang
youngster radio on the padang. It’s according to tagline of this radio “good
music good people”. This radio also affiliation with Warna Radio in singapore.
At the beginning of this radio, warna have different program such as prodangdut
and pronews. Prodangdut program is a kind of warna radio program which is play
about dangdut song.Prosport program is a radio with the content program is
about the information of the sport around Padang city, such as footbal,
basketball, volley etc. Because basicly padang city citizen likes sport. This
program launched for considering of
market condition and pull investments.
