My
choosing
English department have
two programs and the program is translation and broadcasting. For second
student in English department must have one program. Their must choose between
translation and broadcasting, because on of the program will the open go into
work world after they can finish study in this university. Do you know what the
happen with their? Part of student the felt confuse in choose the program so,
what happen after that? There are asking a question the lecture. They ask to
lecture “your opinion which the good between broadcasting and translation,
miss”? She just says “two programs have high quality and this program finally
will bring at work. Don’t you confuse, and hard think about this problem
because this problem can you finished with fast so long as you believe at your
self.”
After than, do you know
what happen? “I am choosing broadcasting”. Do you know why I am choosing that?
Because I love broadcast, and I want be host in one of television station in like
as Choke Soothing, Indra Bekti, Indri Baren, Yuanita Cristina, and etc. other
than, I wan be can test entertainment such writer. Do you know, I have basic to
be presenter because I like speak in front of mirror in my home, and I like to
make story such as love story, short story, or poem. Have many work the have I
make, at the time I have good mood I am always write in my book and usually I
am ate up time just to write the story.
Sometime, my mother
asks me “what are you doing, you just write and write. Do you not read your
book? Because you want final test!” do you know what my answer? I just smile
and say “yes mom I am studying now. It is my live mom for future.” If I
remember at the time I am student in senior high school I just think to make
new story and I hope the story can publish in direction. After than, I can do
to around world with my money and I can make something the can make my parent
proud me.
The factor why I am chooses broadcasting? It
is the fact by my lecture the teach broadcasting in the class. Do you know how
about characteristic my lecture at the time teaches broadcast? They are very
humorist and never angry with us. My lecture always keep smile and give me
support to conscious in study.
My lecture name’s Mr. Santo
and Mr. Yudi, they are more knowledge about translation and I must get their
knowledge because their knowledge can help me to be good presenter or writer.
Do you believe “zero to hero”? For me I believe that. Why? Because I have look
the people at first zero will be some one special any where. Example Choki
Sitohang, he is nothing before that, he just a man the have handsomeness, and
friendly. He is student on of university in Indonesia, after finish to study; I
go to Jakarta to hunting for job. And do you know, what happen with his? He gets
a new job, now he is presenter one of station program in Jakarta. He has mach
money in bank, he can buy anything the he want such as he has new car, new
home, and he can help his family after he has job. Do you know, other than be
good presenter, he also can acting, or modeling. What do you thing after I am
told you about Choke has chosen broadcasting as his live? Do you want be same
with his?
How about translation?
Translation is good job but I don’t have basically to be translator because I
am live to speak for one translates text. I like to take my idea for one
interpret what the writer say in story has his make. I like to give my expression as compared to
meaning expression other people. Because with to expression my idea, I will
make happy and it is make hasn’t depression in my self. I am confidence if I
speak in front of people to use Indonesia language, especially if I want take
my opinion. Until now I am still difficult to speak English language or write
the story with English. But for me, it is not make me despondently to be good
presenter. Although my language not good, but I will study hard to make change
in my live and I believe I can to do it.
My friend in English
department student, still confuse about choose program. It make their have
decision in their live. But If I be permitted for my friend, don’t confusion to
choose the program. You will get decision if you believe your self and you can
ask at your heart, trust me. If you get decision, I believe you not write your
status with “I am confusion or I don’t have idea which one I must to choose?”
why I say that? Because before my fried haven’t decision for choose part of
them write “which want to choose, translation or broadcasting? I am choosing
translation, or I am chosen broadcasting?”
How about now? I think
my friend have find their choose. It can we see from their status in face book,
they not write their depression heart but they have write “I have choose and I
believe it.” I am happy with choose my friend so, for you all congratulation on
your best choose and I hope you are can to walk your life well. For my lecture
I just want say thank you for your knowledge the has give to us and us the
promise not will take in vain your knowledge for beneficence to us.
